Thanks for the prompt reply. Firstly designers would not necessarily be working in Illustrator to enable you to be able to edit the text at a later stage. I would assume that the information/text you want to place in the brochure is AS important as the visuals/design itself. If you let the designers know at least the MUST HAVE text in the brochure it would be act as a basic guide re the size of fonts/images used etc. Minor tweaks to the text can then be accommodated at a later stage once you are happy with the general layout.Personally I think that would be a more productive approach. However, am happy to try your method as well.
