Hey everyone! Thank you for all the wonderful submissions so far! We'll comment on everyone's submissions individually soon, but general thoughts so far are as follows:

1. Please make sure an "8" is included after "Lumen". It doesn't need to match the 8 of the logo, but some of the designs read like 8 Lumen. Lumen8 is one word and should feel like that. It's supposed to mimic the word"Luminate".

2. Some of the silhouettes are looking good, but we're leaning to the more non-gender-specific silhouettes. If it looks too "sexy", for lack of a better term, or too corporate stock image, it's not as appealing to us.

3. Please remember the silhouette is not 100% necessary and if included, it should not obscure the "8" beyond recognition. Some of the logos feel like the person is blocking the "8". We do like some of the ones without silhouettes too.

4. We realize it's a difficult line to tread, but the designs we're liking the best so far are the ones that are creative and playful, but not too busy. A nice balance between inspiring and clean is what we're looking for.

So far we're very impressed and looking forward to seeing what other amazing designs are submitted over the next few days!

Update! Thank you everyone for all your submissions so far! We're very impressed with the first round. We've rated and ranked all of the current submissions. Sadly we've had to eliminate several designs, but don't be discouraged. Please take a look at our comments and feedback on all the leading designs and try again. We're learning more about what we like and what moves us with every submission and with the talent we've seen so far, we expect some amazing designs in round 2. Thank you and keep pushing! This logo will be the face of a phenomenal project so give it your all!

Hey everyone! We're going through an elimination process right now. We've seen a lot of amazing designs and have some 4 and 5-star candidates! We will be eliminating anything with 3 or less stars and providing feedback where appropriate. Additionally, we will be eliminating duplicate designs or older versions, where we like the newer version better. If we eliminate your design, please try again and check the rating on your other designs if we eliminated an older version! Thanks and we're almost there!
