Th ...more Along with being born to two lovely artistic parents, I also have always been drawing for the sole purpose of immortalizing things on the fridge. Thankfully, Mom and Dad have valued the 'making of art' highly and encouraged me with their kind, constructive words; even though, back then it mostly consisted of random scribbles that would never look like a platypus playing the mandolin. Later on, I' ve discovered the joy of Maurice Sendak, Bill Peet, and Dr. Seuss at the library and fell in love with illustration. Middle school cemented the love, after I found out that the ability to draw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could make one popular. All of these early memories of illustration lead me to Khazar University, where I received my BA in Computer Arts. After a brief hiatus away from the profession, I decided to jump into the world of freelance design and web-programming. I enjoy the challenges of rendering ideas into images and love working with other creative people. All in all, I’ve given up on being popular, yet settled to bring food on the table by doing the thing I truly love. hide
