Back in the day, when this all began, there was no difference between designer and developer, and I''ve been standing with one foot on either side of the house ever since.  For you, that simply means that you''ll never get a design that makes your developers snarl or sucks the life out of any bandwidth your users may have.  But yes, I am an artist,  I even have two degree that say so. I''m here, trying this crowdsourcing of design thing for a few reasons... I''m curious, I''m in love with design and can''t help myself, and the tanking global economy has hurt my business. I have more experience, in more sectors than you''d care to hear, and frankly... who cares.  The designs work for you or they don''t, my stellar resume means nothing.  It''s one of the things I love about this ever changing gig, it''s a level playing field with brand new challenges every morning. I''m not sure how much, if any, of my old work I''ll post here.  Many  are old, and these days everyone requires an NDA. But to self describe - I trend toward a funky art school vibe.  I''ve done many a corporate site (large ones, conservative ones), so I can certainly do those, but where I really shine is with clients who are looking for the non-cookie cutter feel. I still have large corporate clients (at least for the moment) but my passion is working with smaller clients.  Frankly, they care more, they have passion about what they envision, and that makes them the perfect clients for me.
