I started to watch over my dad's shoulder as he would design signage on the computer. I started to play around with the computer program and before you knew it, designing graphics and using the computer software was second nature! Then, 4 years ago, we decided to give up LA city life for a WAY calmer, slow paced, easier life. We picked Northeastern Oklahoma and settled our family and sign shop on the beautiful 7 acres of rural property I live on today. By the time we were fairly established on our newly acquired land, I was ready to get some livestock and start up a little farm, as I had been waiting to do my whole life. This brought up the need for me to start my own business, in order to support it, and what could be more convenient than pursuing the start-up of a professional graphic design business, which I was already skilled in? 'Banner Bonanza' was launched in the summer of 2009 on Bonanza.com. I built quite a client base through Bonanza and thought Etsy would be a great place to expand the business and build my professional network. The username 'BannerBonanza' was taken, so at that point, GraphixBlvd was born. And here I am today! :: The girl behind the Design :: Yep, that's me, Hannah! I live on a farm with my family of 7 beautiful people, out here in the countryside of Northeastern Oklahoma. Some seasons on the farm are busier than others, as I have to be available 24/7 for my goats when they kid out (give birth) in the late winter/early spring. My parents are the biggest factors in my life, and are my role models. They have been loving, caring and selfless enough to raise me and my 4 siblings up, in a peaceful home, school us at home, train us how to be successful in life, and are the main reasons I have this business today. I am now in my last two semesters of high school, and running this business contributes to a large part of my curriculum. The business incorporates the basic skills of communication, the ability to problem-solve independently, and creates a comprehensive understanding of financial management. :: The GraphixBlvd Design Style :: The style I use ranges from modern, clean and simple, to detailed and abstract.  The styles I use depends on the client I'm working with at the time. hide
