I have worked in many different creative env ...more My name is Martin Powell and I am a Designer, Animator, and Artist currently living in Savannah, Georgia. I have worked in many different creative environments and always utilize my skills in design to help with any projects that need to be completed. I have completed my higher education in Computer Graphics, and pursued further creative efforts at SCAD and obtained my BFA in Animation. After college, I interned and then became employed at WTOC-TV news, in Savannah, GA. It is there that I became familiar with news production and have experience operating studio equipment. I was responsible for creating story graphics that were used on air daily, whether displayed as a story bummer or side-graphic. I also worked in Atlanta, at Bento Box Entertainment, an animation production studio. I have worked on the production staff of 2 animated shows and have a solid understanding of the animation production pipeline, and how to balance a large project and a large group of people. I have been a valuable asset in every stage of those show’s completion from when the project is first announced to when it is sent off for final approval. At the studio, they were able to utilize my skills as an organized individual to help out with many production and office duties, as well as my experience with animation and had me help complete some animation sequences that needed to be submitted by a fixed deadline. hide
