After earning a BA in Computer Art at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I determined that, despite my education in computer grap ...more After earning a BA in Computer Art at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, I determined that, despite my education in computer graphics, I still had a basic need for connection to the natural world, and that the computer is only one art tool among many. As a result, my style tends to be more organic and often includes natural elements, and hand-drawn/handmade art elements, even within my computer-based work, and I still have a great love of classic art methods such as painting, sewing and paper-crafting. After a long stint as a stay-at-home mom and wife, I have recently found myself in the unfortunate position of single mom needing to support my daughter, and trying to get back on my feet. I also currently work as an assistant teacher at a local Early Learning Center. Despite my situation, my personal goal is to build up my art business, website and portfolio. I also have a goal of creating children's book illustration, and have Etsy and CafePress shops that I hope to eventually develop further. hide
