When I was a kid, I wanted to become an ...more My name is Adam Pizurny and I'm 25 years old graphic designer, working and living in Prague, Czech republic. When I was a kid, I wanted to become an inventor. I fulfilled my dream but in a slightly different way. Throughtout my childhood I drew on paper until I discovered graffiti and fell in love with it. Graffiti has opened doors to a wonderful world of discovering type, colors and shapes. Beacause I grew up alongside a computer, I have started to combine everything I love digitally, and oneday someone has told me it is called design. After graduating I chose textile design as my future destination. Probably because I can see the result of my work in the streets again. Until now I've been involved in a wide range of projects starting with logos, cd artworks, movie posters, apparel designs to billboards and large scale advertising murals. Currently I'm working as a fulltime graphic/apparel designer at Loap sportswear and as an external illustrator for Czech science-fiction magazine XB-1. I like David Lynch's movies, M.C. Escher's art, bryndzove pirohy and fractals. I don't like stupid and aggressive people, television and Comic Sans.
