A phrase we ...more I have been doing logo work, graphics and embroidery design since 1989. Wow I'm old. My design style is evolutionary and based on meaning. A phrase we used in Hawai'i was "No mana'o, no mana." No meaning, No power. A logo must have substance and not just be a random fancy graphic. My "evolutionary" concept means that as I create, slight to radical variations pop into mind, and I'll copy, paste, and tweak to meet the new idea. Those ideas will then branch into others. To be honest, not all the ideas are winners, but the ones with merit will be submitted. Having digitized tens of thousands of logos for embroidery, I've learned where designs lose touch with reality and connection with an audience by just being too busy. hide
