I would like to think that despite returning to education as a mature student and graduating with a BA(Hons) Fine Art Practice my creativity has not been destroyed by so called professionals in their field (tutors). I learnt and fully engaged in the Creative industries whilst slumming it in the United States (1992-2001). I have freelanced for various design companies in Las Vegas, Nevada worked in sales & promotions at the Wyland Gallery in Key West, Florida and helped set up "Streetwise" magazine in Chicago, Illinois. I would say on a business level that I am an Illustrator but really I love to draw and paint and have done since I was a kid. My style was once described by a tutor as having no direction and lacking in technique but another person forked out £70 of their hard earned cash for the privilege of taking the same artwork home. Anyway I don't like to pigeon hole styles as I believe ones creativity is an ever changing manifestation of their lifes experiences. I must say though I love Art Neavou and Surrealism. Any one can draw a bowl of fruit, its in the conceptual delivery of the image that matters. hide
