My son has Autism. And on a daily basis I struggle with ways to deal with that. I struggle to find ways to reconcile his exceptional hardships with my faith and relationship with my God. Ive decided to get a tattoo as a personal and outward expression of that inner turmoil I suffer from on a daily basis. So this is what I need.


I need a graphic, or artwork or illustration or whatever you want to call it that a tattoo artist can use to give me a tattoo. I want a version of the iconic image of Christ struggling carrying his cross up stone steps or rocks upward. I would like to have a male child carrying the cross instead and I want the cross to be filled in with the multi colored puzzle, indicating that autism is my sons cross to bear.

Somewhere in the graphic or below it perhaps I would like the words
"Dum anima est, spes est" which is latin for "where there is spirit, there is hope"
