Community Contests Ayuda
Submitting, Voting and Winning
Can I vote more than once per submission?
You can only vote once per entry. Any attempts to collude or manipulate voting on a contest will be a breach of our User Agreement and could result in the suspension of your account.
No, you cannot vote on your own submission.
Author details and vote scores are hidden from view during submission and voting periods.
During the submission period, your submission is hidden until the contest moves into the voting phase. During the voting period your design is visible but your author profile and average rating is hidden.
When the voting period ends, the results are announced and voter scores and author details are visible on each submission.
Submissions may be eliminated if they do not adhere to the Contest Rules, or the General Rules which apply to all Community Contests.
Admins or DesignCrowd launch contests. When the submission deadline ends, the Contest moves into a voting phase for 3 days. During the voting period, entries become visible and the DesignCrowd community can vote on the contest submissions, rating a design from 1 to 5 stars. You can only vote once per submission in a given Contest and as a participant you cannot cast a vote on your own entry. Voters should vote for all entries in any contest (exclusion being their own entries which they can not vote on).
The score your design / artwork receives during voting period is hidden to new voters.
Once the voting deadline is reached, prizes are allocated to the top voted entries and the contest is finished. Submissions appear in order of rank and participants details are visible or, where the Contest is sponsored by DesignCrowd, selected by DesignCrowd.
Your points will be publicly visible on a Community Leaderboard (launching shortly) which will display the overall points or ranking for community contest participants. The board is one way of demonstrating skill and competence in a particular creative field (alongside your feedback scores and career earnings). You will also be able to toggle between rankings for specific categories and overall rankings to see a list of top creatives from each category.
In the future we'll also be introducing badges (which will be visible in your profile) linked to your community activity.
For more voting rules, you can view the rules for Community Contests.
