Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Utdanning.no is the official Norwegian national education and career portal, and includes an overview of education in Norway and more than 500 career descriptions. Utdanning can be translated to education.

One of the services on the website is a "Grade calculator". Users can:
* calculate their grade average, including bonus points
* identify and navigate studies they are both eligible and ineligible to enter

What we want:
A logo that will be suitable for use on the website, both as a large logo and a small icon (on front page, in footer, etc).

The logo should reflect the tasks users can perform, which is calculation. Please remember that this should work both as a logo and a small icon. Don't focus on the font too much, it's more important that we get a symbol/icon that works well.

Ideas: Calculator, grades, lists, subjects, professions, school work, simple mathematical expressions, ++. 1-6 (not A-F) is used in the the Norwegian upper secondary grade system.

Utdanning.no also provides other services, such as a Job Compass, dictionary, visualization of the education system and others. Logos and icons for the services should have similar expressions, but currently we lack a common theme for these. Perhaps there will be new tasks for the winner to design these as well later.

UPDATE 5th OF MARCH 2013:
We have received several elegant and creative logos so far. But a lot of the suggestions are slightly too creative. A good advice would be to keep it simple - it is after all a calculator! A nice looking calculator with would suit us just fine. :)
