Building a brand new site for Kiteboarders/Kitesurfers .... this is the first of 8 sites we're rolling out.

We're as much looking for a partner to work with, and they will be chosen based on the winner of this site design.

It will need these menu pages:

1) How-To
2) Classifieds
3) Groups
4) News
5) Events

Width: 1150px

The home page, should feature:

1) A search box to enter a location
2) Under that, a series of boxes showing up to 5 previous locations chosen - these should be "buttons", directly under the location (i.e. no photo, just the location name)
3) Under that, a 5 x 3 grid of adverts, featuring a photo, a title & a price
4) Under that, top 5 headlines, each one featuring photo, headline & Summary
5) Under that, top 10 Group topics: Group, Title, Author, #Replies (no photo for these)
6) Under that, 5 x 3 grid of photos
7) Footer

Colours should be of the ocean:
Blues, greens, compatible with yellow. (i.e. not washed out blues like facebook), vibrant blues, but not too vivid as to overpower.

Avoid: Photos of any equipment, as they will date quickly.
