New company in New Zealand called 'andabu' (which is from three names - Andrew, David and Burns) requires a logo design that reflects the core business around investments in technology based companies. The design should communicate a young and fresh approach, using technology and design to make life easier.

The text is important and should form part of the logo - which preferably combines the text with a symbol or design element. Font is very important, it should be unique but simple and elegant so it doesn't age. Font should be all lower case or all upper case.

No specific colours in mind, but should be kept simple (max 2 or 3 different colours). You can experiment with adding either 'Investments' or 'Capital' underneath in smaller subtext.

If you google 'investments logo' then you should get a feel for the general industry themes used.
