We need a logo for the massively open online consortium "DecydEd." Please find below a description of DecydEd and our requirements for the logo.

Massively open online courses (MOOCs) have been taking the higher education industry by storm, offering university-level courses from the world’s top schools online for free to anyone, anywhere. Most exsiting MOOC platforms offer courses within a disjointed, decentralized framework that does not offer a cohesive, integrated curriculum in a specific discipline necessary in training students for jobs. DecydEd is a unique MOOC consortium, with faculty from several of the world’s top universitites - including Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Chicago, the London School of Economics, and the University of Toronto - with a two-prong objective:

a. Offer an integrated curriculum of massively open online courses in engineering and business to a broader community of students, researchers, and practitioners around the world.

b. Deliver fully automated real-time decision-making tools which build upon the course material taught and enhance workforce readiness and job placement in engineering and management streams

DecydEd's business platform, called "The Academic Financial Trading Platform" (AFTP), launched in November 2012 and have reached hundreds of thousands of students worldwide. A screenshot of one of the pages of the platform is attached. The engineering platform is scheduled to launch in Summer 2013.

The DecydEd logo is going to be used on the business and engineering platforms. We would like to see a couple of different versions of the logo: one with just "DecydEd" and another with DecydEd on top and "university" below. It is not necessary to have the "D" of Decyded in upper case. We would like to see different versions that experiment with the font as well as with the upper and lower cases.
