Resumen de Diseño de Póster

We need a poster image that will be used for a cover screen of an iPad app that allows you to remix music videos. The image should be 2048 pixels wide by 1536 pixels high at 72 dpi RGB.

Images should be inspired by classic Russian propaganda posters and the work of Shepard Fairey.

Poster should incorporate the name VIDZIQ and be very bold in design.

Please make sure you own the rights to all images you use.

After looking at the first designs, I''m posting some more information that might be helpful. First of all, thanks to everyone for taking the lead from Russian Propaganda/Constructivism posters and Shepard Fairey (very important and much appreciated!)


* Don''t be afraid to be very intricate and adorn with lots of details (Shepard is great at this.)

* Please also focus on line art as the primary image source. It''s cool to grunge up the texture (but not necessary), however, make sure the images start as crisp line art. The exception to this (there are always exceptions), are half-tone photographic images as used in classic Russian Constructivist posters. But if you''re debating, use line art.

* Borders are much appreciated. If the entire poster can be contained as an intricate "emblem" that would be cool. (again, this is not necessary depending on the final image, but if you''re debating about emblematic borders versus no borders, put them in!) But as always, strong design is more important than borders.

* If your design could use additional text elements, you can use the following: "Remix, Remake, Reimagine"

* Don''t be afraid of non-music imagery. Of course, because of the nature of the project, music imagery is appreciated. But if you have an idea for an image that''s not explicitly music, that''s cool too if it conveys attitude, boldness, hip, propaganda, etc. Ideally, blending music and non-music would be ideal.

I should clarify that I am looking for designs that are inspired by Shepard Fairey's later work (when he was most inspired by Russian Constructivism.) Although I personally like his early work also (the Andre the Giant era work), for this project, we're looking for the Russian Constructivist inspired work.
