Resumen de Diseño Con Ícono

Task Description:
We are a leader in developing products for the horse race handicapping market. We are looking for icons needed for a new graphic oriented project we have designed. We need icon designs for five navigation buttons. Currently we have designed 5 icons (which are attached to this brief), but based on consumer testing, the feedback was that they were too “cartoon” like. We are looking to create new icons with a more professional look.

Just a few hints:
- no shadows
- no gradients/no glossy effects
- plain, simple forms
- professional, business like, using muted color format
- Would suggest NOT using red, blue, yellow and green colors, #FF0000, #0000FF, #FFFF00, and #008000.
- All should be flat icons/pictograms in a png file.

Sizes:
Navigation Icons: 80 x 80 pixels, and identical set at 44 x 44 pixels

General Description:
1. BubbleCapper (page has three Bubble Graphs, showing bubble representing each horses running style and projected position at different parts of the race.)

2. Signals (page has a grid filled with “signals” icons for each horse)

3. Speed/Class Graphs (page has line graph representing speed and class ratings)

4. Player Pie/Bar Graph (page has pie and bar charts for trainer, jockey, sire, and dam, if you can only include one version for icon, suggest using “pie” format)

5. Notes (page lets user type in notes for reference)

UPDATE: Finally, based on a revised look and feel, we would like a new product icon. The current version is attached. Please submit that as well using your style.

Attached to this brief are the current icons we have (which again we do not like), and two examples of more professional icons to give you some idea of what we are looking for.
