Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for my pen name, Alyssa Everett. I write romance novels set in England during the regency period (1811-1820), the era before Queen Victoria-think Lord Byron, Napoleon Bonaparte and most of all Jane Austen. Regency romances typically feature wealthy, aristocratic heroes and elegant settings. Regency readers are picky about historical detail so any pictorial elements used need to reflect the proper time period (i.e., no anachronisms like hoop skirts). The final design should suggest writing/fiction but also the regency subgenre.

The logo should include some kind of pictorial element. Since I know this is not a high-budget project, silhouettes are fine as long as the graphic is recognizable. Some possible suggestions, though I don't want to limit creativity:
- Human figure in regency costume, especially male
- Costume items like topboots (riding boots), beaver hat (a kind of curly-brimmed top hat), or regency bonnet
- Items that suggest a regency setting such as a candelabra or country house (the Downton Abbey sort)

To evoke the regency period yet still work for easy readability, fonts I like include clean but slightly antique script (examples would be Diplomat or Daisy Lau) or something suggestive of an early 1800s typesetter's font (like Broadsheet or ITC Oldbook Italic OsF). Alternatively, I believe my publisher uses Trajan on my book covers (see the file attached for example). Again, I don't want to limit creativity, so these are just suggestions. The important thing is to suggest regency historical fiction.
