***Amendment to brief: Please can the word "Portfolios" receive equal status to "ETF", i.e. ETF PORTFOLIOS summit. The word "summit" can be smaller and/or less prominent. Essentially, we want to stress the "ETF Portfolios" element of the name. The word summit is simply the type of event. The logos thus far are accentuating ETF but not "portfolios". Please accentuate "ETF Portfolios" on the same line, perhaps with "summit" on a line underneath and/or in small text size.***

We are looking for a logo to be designed for an investment conference (called “ETF Portfolios Summit”) we are hosting. The event, a high-level half-day conference, will be focussed on portfolio management using exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and will comprise a series of presentations and expert panel discussions.

Delegates attending the event will be sophisticated professional investors, such as portfolio managers and private client wealth managers. It will be held at the London Stock Exchange. The event logo needs to reflect the topic and appeal to this highly professional corporate audience.

The logo, which should be set against a white background, will be used on all branding and promotional material relating to the event, including: event website, event guide/brochure, delegate event bags, pull-up roller banners and delegate note pads.

The logo should incorporate the date of the event (Thursday 18 June 2015) and the name of the venue (London Stock Exchange). We are planning to run the event on an annual basis on different dates and at different venues and would like to use the logo each year and be able to simply change the text detailing the date and venue. Therefore this needs to be accounted for in the design i.e. the date and venue will be in smaller text underneath.

The logo should resonate with the conference theme (i.e. investments, portfolio management). For general inspiration, examples of corporate event logos can be found here:
