Packaging is usually much more pay than what you are offering. Good luck with that.

Hi

I'm interested in this project but I suggest you make the project guaranteed.
What usually happen is buyers come here and get all these great designs
and us designers spend hours, sometimes days designing and at the end
of the project we get nothing. Besides your payment is way too low.

I must agree with what the others are saying. You are asking for an entire product packaging line. That includes research, branding, concepts, design, mockups, re-design, ect. It's a big project. The compensation you are offering is a little low for what all needs to be done.

I'm new to this whole process and didn't realize that DC was going take so much of the allotment for fees, etc. Unfortunately, I really don't have much flexibility in the budget. If there is an excellent result and a way to offer a bonus payment, then that would be feasible.
And to James' concern, I have no intention of being so disingenuous.  I was worried my explanation would be so poor that I might not get anything suitable and that's why I haven't guaranteed payment.

I think this is a very interesting creative project however, as per the other comments a lot is being asked here and I just want to understand what your exact expectations are for this particular brief.

Packaging design usually works in stages. First you develop and overall idea/concept and then you look at developing this further onto the packaging.

The first instance for this project would be developing an overall idea for the front of the box - a visual that gives a look and feel (that can be carried through to the other tea variants). Once this initial idea has been created it goes to the next stage of development; setting it up into packaging (artworking).

Tag, individual wrapping, outerbox really comes down to packaging specifications/dimensions and dielines that are set up and provided by your printer. We designers use this as our base to work up our designs (although we can recommend we generally do not create our own packaging dielines as this comes down to printing budget etc).

That's why it's best to start with an initial design concept and then take it to the next stage of developing the packaging.

After this initial project are you considering working with the designer to take it to the next stage?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Bilk, if that's what's needed to get it done, then I'd definitely have to see about going that route.

(This is turning out far more complicated than I expected)

Hi,
can I ask you to extend deadline? I am an experienced packaging desinner and I find your project too late.
Thanks
Kseniya

Dear Project Owner.
Sorry I was out of my workplace for some time and I am late to submit you designs because your project is closed. If you are interested in my designs let me know please and I can send them to you.
Best regards,
Kseniya

Are you still needing more designs? I have just come across your brief.
