Text that has movement and is also if creatively done could be an image.  For example, let''s take the A and R of Autumn Rose and when placed next to each other ''AR'' it would take on a stamp that cuts out  image space in the middle of a circular shaped background color.  www.AutumnRose.com typed out over the middle of the circular shape, yet the AR is much large and still distinguishable.  The same logo could be used for a FB, Twitter, or other Icon.
