sorry, I have hard time to understand this project and your example logos. What do you want to achieve with this logo - t-shirt?
I really don't think that the most important is the rugged look at this point. ( that's just last touchup) Also in brief you are asking for Serif font, but all your examples are Sans Serif.
Pathology is the science of the causes and effects of diseases... this company strives to break that mold??? ...please explain...
Who will be wearing your clothing and why? Can you give us example of abnormality you talking about?
What do you want to communicate... connection to Christianity, suffering, abnormality , fitness?
thanks
I will change the font in the briefing- honestly, what caught my attention was the feel of your work. I want to imply training and living with a christian influence- redefining purpose rather than striving for self glory. So many times a pathology represents something that is wrong or defective, and I am trying to make a play on that to say that we do have a different motor, but that our motor has meaning. We train for a different reason and live for a different reason, and that revolves around our identity in christ. I want to achieve a subtle christian undertone that can grow into a ministry project, but currently, I want to break into the crossfit/training scene. Companies like Rogue Fitness, Virus Performance, and Progen-X have the feel I'm looking for, and based on what you put together, I thought your handiwork would fit right in. We don't want people to think about the negativities of being abnormal, we want it to be embraced and accepted that we are different. Fitness is the main idea, and I want it to be worn by competitors and daily gym goers who want to make people ask questions. The font of PLAE flooring, Rogue Fitness, and Virus is the feel I'm looking for, but as for what I've posted already, this is my first time venturing into this realm so thank you for all the questions. It helps me to further elaborate on where I'm at.
Also, I'm in physical therapy school and love the connection between pathologies and training. It's something that I could carry forward, and I want to get the first design right.
Let me know if you have any further questions, because, based on portfolios, I really want you to be the spearpoint on this one.
Oh and further elaboration on the christian undertone- I believe that we are made differently, with a much larger focus, a larger purpose, and a challenge to be different daily, in order that we might not be of the world but of the Spirit of God.
**and I love the font on your "warfighter" design. Something similar is what I had in mind.
just to be sure your company name is what? Crossfit WOD? or WOD Crossfit? what wording would you like on your shirts? :)
Pathology Apparel is the name (or just pathology for short)
then Embrace Abnormality is the slogan
Unbelievable, you ask for serif or sans serif font, you ask for "embrace abnormality" something subtly christian, something to do with cross fit training/ fitness, and the winner has none of the above? I'm so very disappointed in the time I wasted on this project.
