Double Barrel Wine Bar is opening this summer in beautiful Livermore, California, USA!
We see this project, designing our logo, as a centrally important piece of bringing to life our new venture. The Double Barrel logo is a visual representation of our brand promise and our values.
Who we are:
When customers talk about Double Barrel Wine Bar they'll rave about "the experience". They’ll feel appreciated, cared for and like they're in their second home in the center of the community, exploring special wines with good friends, old and new. This is a place where you can have a great conversation, listen to soulful music, laugh a lot, and experience both local wines and wines from around the globe.
Livermore Valley has some of the oldest wine vineyards in the United States. At Double Barrel Wine Bar we want to celebrate our heritage, the present moment and the possibility of an even brighter future.

Specifics regarding the logo:
Use of two wine barrels in the design
Possible use of grape vines in design
Use of infinity sign to represent history, present, future of wine-neverending
Use of Full name -as well as- DB to abbreviate Double Barrel
Open to color choices, but am thinking earthy colors, neutrals and "wine red"
This logo design will be used for print, stationary, website, menu and outdoor signage.
No “gun” barrel reference

Hello!
Thank you to all who have submitted thus far. We have a few logos we are drawn to, but in general we feel we may need to re-iterate a few points from our brief. Thus far we are most attracted to the designs from the logo designer SRAM Studios.
We are looking for a logo which is:
Elegant
Uses earthy colors
Represents a relaxing, upscale wine bar
Is artistic and not cartoon-like
Gives the feel of bringing nature indoors
