Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I have recently opened a shop front on Etsy.com - please search for UglyPrettyDesigns to view my work. I offer real insects which are hand decorated by me with Swarovski crystals.

A friend previously designed a logo as a favour (attached), and although very close to my original idea, unfortunately it does not translate well when resizing, and does not feature my shop name - Ugly Pretty Designs. I have added this only for reference/interest, please do not feel you need to mirror this design.

I will shortly be offering my own direct sales website. It will be quite stark, a lot of white, as this means my work will really stand out. My business cards and any supporting literature for my site will also be white, so please bear this in mind when designing the logo.

I primarily work with different types of beetles (please, no butterflies in your design as this would not be relevant to me).

I am looking for something with a sleek and luxurious feel to it, which really reflects my brand, and that will also work well with business cards etc.

I do not want anything cartoon-like or brightly coloured - it needs to be stylish, slick, contemporary, bold and strong yet simple, and of course needs to reflect my product.
