Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Church Construction Services Limited is a start-up company that will have a number of trading names, using the prefix 'Church', e.g. Church Construction Services Ltd t/a Church Drainage Contractors; Church Construction Services Ltd t/a Church Fencing Contractors; Church Construction Services Ltd t/a Church Stone Cleaning & Repair, Church Construction Services Ltd t/a Church New Build Homes, etc, etc. That sort of text will appear in small print on letter-heads, business cards etc to comply with corporation law.

The main logo will have a symbol and text. I imagine the symbol being the same for each trading name but being a different colour: e.g. green, blue, grey, black, yellow, red, etc.

The best symbol I have been able to think of, is an based on octagons, (eight sided figure); more precisely five octagons placed close together - not touching. A central octagon, with an octagon placed at its shoulder. Not all sides of the octagon need be equal length. I imagined the top, bottom horizontal sides and the right & left vertical sides being all the same length. The four corner, diagonal sides, I imagine to be shorter in length. I always imagined the sides to be straight but some side could be curved.

In two weeks time, I am going to collect some new drainage equipment with a new van. The equipment supplier has kindly asked if I would be willing to have a photo of them handing over the equipment to me with their equipment in the back of my van. This proposition has recently come out of the blue, so now I am concentrating on logos designs and marketing in general. I require the artwork within a week so that I can get the van decals and garment screen printing and embroidery done.
