Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am updating my brief as I have some further clarity of which I would like to share and I have attached a logo that I like to hopefully help percolate some ideas!

I need a design for a new business logo. My business is called "Breakthrough Mentoring".
I am based in Australia and am establishing a MENTORING business; where I help people move from where they are, toward what they want to achieve. This will be predominantly for people who are starting businesses or who want to start a business, but also be mentoring to assist people with other areas of their "stuck-ness". I am an expert in my current field and regarded as an authority so the logo should reflect this but also keep it feminine.

My target audience is women, but not limited to only women. I will be targeting professional women and want an upmarket, professional feel but with some feminine flare.
I want the logo to signify breaking through something. The final design should communicate a breakthrough. Some ideas around this could be a door opening, a series of stairs, a journey or path (signifying the journey they will go with me as their mentor).
The colours I want to go with must speak class and elegance, but also trust. I like the look of gold or yellow with black and white, or even a bright blue with black and white. I have attached one logo that I like the look of.
