Resumen de Diseño de Logo

YUGAL KUNJ is the name of the Radha-Krishna temple and Community Center. It is the Atlanta location of Radha Madhav Society, a non-profit organization in the USA.
We seek to inspire selfless devotion to God as taught by the timeless Vedas and Hindu Scriptures and to help community members of all ages to lead a happy, healthy and spiritually oriented life.
Our activities include:
- Gatherings to sing prayers and songs written and inspired by the guru, Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj, in devotion of Radha and Krishna.
- Conduct classes, camps, and activities that enrich the local community kids, parents, and senior citizens. These include music, yoga, cultural, and leadership classes.
We are constructing a new building that will add to the above:
- Sunday prayers and free food to all visitors in the new building kitchen and dining area
- Classroom and event rentals for local community and private events

We need a clean and simple logo that defines both the religious and the community-centric work that we perform at Yugal Kunj. An initial design is attached for general reference, but we will consider enhanced, or even totally different ideas.
We want to use orange-yellow/saffron color, along with peacock feather blue. The blue peacock feather represents Krishna (as it appears in his crown, and also Krishna's dark complexion). The yellow/saffron color is the preferred cloth color of Hindu saints.

In the attached logo, the copper border is the border that our new building has. This is optional in the new design. You can see the artist rendering of the building under construction at http://yugalkunj.org.
The peacock feather in the original design seems like it extends from the crown (creating the "Y"), just like Krishna wears it on his.

Please do not project any specific class like music, yoga, etc. on the logo. There are several more enrichment and free classes that are being added to our community services offering.

• golden-yellow/saffron representing the hindu saints colors, peacock blue representing Krishna. The logo must project spiritual peace and a feeling of community through smooth, peaceful lines/shapes. If you use gradient color, that should print well on business cards, as well as huge banners.
