BACKGROUND

The Telethon Kids Institute is a not-for-profit, independent, medical research institute based in Perth, Western Australia. The Institute improves the health and wellbeing of children through excellence in research (www.telethonkids.org.au).

The Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines & Infectious Diseases sits within the Telethon Kids Institute. Its mission is to reduce the burden of serious childhood infections by finding better prevention and treatment solution (www.telethonkids.org.au/wesfarmers-centre-of-vaccines-infectious-diseases/).

The Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines & Infectious Diseases will be organizing an annual clinical training course in Perth, targeting trainees, trainers, clinicians and clinical researchers in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Perth based course draws on the successful concept of the annual ESPID-Oxford course (IIC Oxford; www.oxfordiic.org), bringing it to Australia for the first time in 2016. It will provide a growing cohort of medical trainees and clinicians in the Asia-Pacific region with the latest knowledge and best evidence to prevent, diagnose and cure serious infections in children.



BRIEF

We require a logo design for a training course called: Hot Topics in Infection and Immunity in Children - The Perth Course (IIC Perth).

The design can be text only or with a pictorial/character/stylized graphic:

The graphic can be a stylized/abstract picture or cartoon/character of:
infection and/or immunity (such as white blood cells or cytokines or immunization)

Perth and/or Western Australia and/or Asia Pacific

We have attached the logos of the Telethon Kids Institute and Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines & Infectious Diseases, and would like the logo design the training course to reflect (purple and teal) and/or complement (maybe orange and/or yellow) their color scheme and/or font (Proxima Nova and/or Proxima Nova Soft).

The IIC Perth logo design will be placed alongside these of the Institute and Centre, but also on its own. It will be used on the website, print media and displayed during the course.
