We have some really amazing designs to choose from and the work is stellar! Do not submit unless you are bringing your "A" game. Read the entire brief.

New Note:
The logo must not look cartoony. Bold, powerful! A bit Fortune 500, more horizontal less "badge". NO Ships Steering Wheels or Anchors!

We are looking to have a designer develop a logo for The Northwest Maritime Academy (NWMA).

NWMA is a maritime safety training company. We specialize in emergency response for the maritime trade from small work boat crews to ocean going tanker, and cruise lines.

We need a logo that encompasses all that we do in a simple graphic, one that can easily be transferred to clothing, uniforms, websites, letterhead and all marketing materials.

The concept is a ship with classic lines as seen from head on with a bow-wake that is actually a book, and perhaps one half is a compass rose pointing to NW or 315°

I have attached a very rough idea and is not necessarily the ultimate direction we want to go, but is instead added just to see the elements we are searching for in a logo. We need a designer that can take our design elements and create something truly special. Our primary colors are in the Nautical and dark Blue.

Do not take the attached logo as a literal design, but more of an idea of the elements. we would like to incorporate into the design. Please do not send us back the attached logo simply colorized. We are very open to any and all interpretations.
