Based on the designs I have received thus far, I really like the color scheme for the lettering with two shades of green. The designs with proper focus placed on the cross have also been at the top. I am looking for additional effort put into the cross over and above simply making it brown and having is stand out simply because of the offset in color. It should stand out as a signature piece of the design.

Half of those submissions are revisions from designers that I have already given feedback to based upon their initial draft. I am still very much in the initial stage of the process and only began receiving submissions today. However, if you feel that this project is not ideal for you to work on based upon competition from other designers then perhaps you are correct. Submit if you would like to do so and I will give you feedback to determine if we can get to a good place on your design. If not, then I am sure I will be able to find an outstanding design from the other designers that are committing time towards the project. At the end of the day, the design of this website facilitates healthy competition.

I am all up for competition... but you have a very precise requirement... almost to the point of there being only one correct answer to the brief! Just don't want to waste time if you "nearly have it"...

I don't "nearly have it" since as I mentioned I am in the initial stage of the process. However, I do have several excellent drafts to choose from at this point. I just would hope that you, as ideally every designer, would have confidence in your ability to create your own signature design that would stand out from the crowd. As I mentioned, if you do not feel it is worth your time at this point then best of luck on your other projects.
