Who we are and what we do
-
We are a boutique digital interactive shop operating in Cyprus. We are technologists, digital artists, hardcore programmers, and sociologists of the cyberspace. We employ multiple digital media such as mobile, social networks, social games and personal communication technologies to create interactive marketing campaigns that spread virally -keyboard-to-keyboard, and mouth-to-mouth.
So far, and despite our small size (our team consists of only 3 people), we have created the most successful viral campaign in Cyprus, and our clientele includes one of the largest banks in Cyprus, and all 3 major recycling companies operating on the island.
What we are not
-
We are not a software development firm. Our business is not about programming code, although we code in order to bring our campaigns to life. Our business is enticing people to interact and connect. Think of us as... programmer cyber-psychologists!
What distinguishes us from the competition, and the final product should communicate
-
1. Technological magic. As the quote goes, we believe that any sufficiently good technology is indistinguishable from magic. Our technologists will create any technology necessary so that we will never have to sacrifice great ideas.
2. We study the social architecture of our campaigns in great detail, in order to create successful virals. We use the social DNA of the modern web so as to create communities of fanatic users around our clients’ brands.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Thank you for all your submissions. We are extending our deadline for the following reason:
As a result of a recent and grave explosion accident in Cyprus, we are experiencing severe electricity shortages and intermittent internet access all over the island. Thus the past few days have been focused on aspects of our business and our clients' business that are directly affected by the crisis. We are in need of the extra 5 days in order to review all the designs properly.

We require the following features:
A. In addition to the typography, it should contain some graphical symbolism organically blended in, or surrounding the typography. The wit, elegance, and relevance of the symbolism and the way you organically include it in the typography, will be our top criterion for the selection.
B. Please make certain the logo retains its key design features, and generally displays properly, when scaled down.
C. Please keep it simple.
D. Our clients are medium to large businesses. However the logo should communicate youthfullness, to represent both us, and the internet users of our digital products.

In order for you to create the graphical symbolism, here are some rough directions. You can either choose among the following directions, combine more than one of the following directions, or… surprise us with something we have not thought of! We have no special preference towards a particular direction, so choose freely whichever inspires you!
1. Humans, social networks: Our business is not coding (although we use coding to bring our campaigns to life). We use the social DNA of the web to entice people to connect and interact. We are essentially programmer cyber-psychologists. Social DNA, People, Communities, Networks.
2. Controlling devices, usual computer interface symbolisms: mouse, keyboard, phone, various cursors (e.g. the hand, arrow and hourglass cursors)
3. Fresh concepts and technological magic in the service of marketing: fresh concepts powered by awesome and magical proprietary technology. Freshness, magic wand, potions, test tubes, wizard’s hat, frog.
4. Virality: explosion (tip: which also relates with countdown, thus the phrase 3minutes inherits a new meaning. Any other interpretations welcome). Buzz. Mouth-to-mouth. Keyborad-to-keyboard. Exponential spread.

- Origin of our name: The name 3minutes has no significant relation to our activities. Through your design, you can attempt to implicitly tie the literal meaning of “3 minutes” with interactive marketing – in fact, this would be a welcome surprise - however, it is not a requirement.
