Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for our new company called "Boyd EDC" based in Texas. The "Boyd" is the owners name, and the EDC stands for Electrical, Datacomm & Controls.

We are a company that provides general electrical services and design for both residential & commercial companies. We now also offer Automation services (lighting control, thermostat, shades, etc.), Security, and Home Theater custom installs for both residential and commercial businesses.

We like earth-tones for colors and the logo must look good in black & white as well. (Downgrade gracefully in size/color for shirt, print & vehicle wrap display.) Too busy of a logo will not work.

We have attached some sample logos that we liked that highlighted the home & services related to our own. Please do not copy these samples or take them as a design guideline.

The final design should communicate that we offer several services that are related to home/commercial buildings. The company name (Boyd EDC) can be stand alone text next to a designed mark or fully integrated.

• It would be nice for the design to represent the different services offered by the company. A font that is easily readable, but also brings professional and upscale to mind.

• Should not have more than 4 colors.
• None of the typical lightning bolt style pictures that a majority of electrical contractors have (unless truly unique.)
