Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

I own and operate Cost Plus Nutrition, a chain of 5 stores in San Antonio. We've been in business since 1998 and have a solid reputation but need a higher profile in the community. A summary of my project:
T shirt design for men; demographic: 20-40+; moderate to upper income
Adaptable to tank styles
Market is serious gym and fitness crowd; demographic 20-40+ moderate to upper income
Style: Classic modern; High energy; edgy yet smart; masculine but not overly aggressive or belligerent in tone; good detail
Theme: My sense is that while theme is important and subject matter should be relevant, overall design is the most important criterion; in other words, the design can reflect fitness in a subtle fashion but shouldn’t hammer it.
Color: Open to both monochromatic and moderate color
Free form (no borders) on front
Back of shirt will feature ‘Cost Plus Nutrition’ in border ( stylized in circle, square, etc.)
Front graphic / back store ID (positioning on shirt?)
Fabric will be thin, soft, stretchy, form-fitting. Pigment will be impregnated
T shirts should market our company but stand alone as a desirable commodity. Am hoping for a world-class design that will be highly desirable as a stand-alone commodity. If the design is as compelling as I expect it to be, I plan on commissioning a shirt periodically (3-4 annually).

• Place 'Health is a journey' on top. The graphic forms the body of the design and should reflect a wilderness or other forbidding or wild, intimidating environment. I'm attracted to collages of images, retro photos, old maps, the incorporation of sepia tones. Naturalistic scenes depicting uncharted areas you might get lost in...
• The base of the graphic will show 'you need a guide'. I'm looking for something fashionable and smart. I don't want to cater to hard-core gym fanatics.

• Collage of images. I'm impressed with Gitanapolis' Retro Joe campaign (Gitanapolis is an artist I neglected to invite but wish I had). Refer to #5392370. Gitanapolis created great images for Retro Joe using vintage photos arranged in a collage. I'm sure it was a very successful effort.
