Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

We want a tshirt design for the staff and students of our wilderness class to wear around town.

The program is called Wilderness Travel Course and it’s put on by Sierra Club once a year for 10 weeks January through April. It’s taught in 4 area of the greater LA / OC area. We teach a variety of outdoor and backpacking skills both in the classroom and during 4 outings. Students do a long dayhike in the local mountains, a weekend rock scrambling to a peak in joshua tree, map and compass navigation, a snow shoe, and finally a 3 day backpack at altitude in the snow. After that students must complete two backpacking / peakbagging outings in the Sierra Nevada or desert with us. The staff is all volunteer and the only money we charge is to cover permits, facilities, equipment, and buses. This is coming from our local group in Orange County but may be adopted by the other areas if it comes out well.

-We'd prefer the shirts not be white (shows too much dirt and blood) Being able to have more than one color would be a plus
-Mountains and winter should be a prominent part but ideally it would show the full range of what the class offers
-Could be used by the staff as a uniform during the class but main goal is advertisement around town
-Mainly I'd like something that looks good, draws peoples eyes, and provides us openings to talk about the class.

• Mountains. The full name of the program "Wilderness Travel Course" plus some mention of Sierra Club. The design should be eye catching and show what the class has to offer through pictures and words. We'd like something both to wear while teaching the class and around town to act as advertisement.
• We'd also like something that uses both the front and back of the shirt in some manner

Agradable de tener

• Something showing the range of activities. Desert rock scrambling. Map and compass. Winter camping. Summer Sierra Nevada backpacking and peakbagging
• I also like the more open designs where it's spread across the shirt vs isolated to a small logo but either works.

No debería tener

• No rock climbing specific images since that's not covered by the class. We do take people out for roped climbs and more technical mountaineering (ice axe, crampon, ect) after the course but it's not our focus.
