Thanks for the invite but I'm afraid I'll have to pass, unfortunately $200 is some way short of what I would typically charge for a job like this.

i too would charge way more than this... what a fantastic brief... there is a lot of development in this job... would take more than 2 days to complete... if you don't get a good design... email me brandmechanic@gmail.com

and thumbs up for a well written "brief"... You have set the scene... and painted the picture... and left wiggle room for the designer to make their mark... good stuff!

Thanks, I have been thinking about it for a while I guess. The exchange rate has killed us too in the last couple of months - it is worth more in Oz. Anyway, I was not looking in this process to end up with something final - more to road test some ideas and see if we could find a designer who 'gets it' and we could work with moving forward. So if you think that might be you - have a crack and consider the price a deposit.

cheers

John

The exchange rate must be the reason that more than 20% of the old payments have disappeared... I never thought about that before... drop me an email and I will send you some examples of my packaging...

Lieutenant James Cook RN was not picked for the job because he had a special way with place names. He was good at his job because he had no imagination whatsoever. c.f. Cape Tribulation, Point Hicks, Endeavour Reef, Wednesday Island, Thursday Island, Christmas Island, Lizard Island, Botany Bay etc etc etc

they sound very Pirate-y to me... Aye aye Captain Cook! Drop me an email... I am about to head out of town for 3 days...
