Resumen de Diseño Wordpress

We need a complete wordpress theme to overhaul the look and feel of our aeroclub website.

We are a flying club (aeroclub) based in France, near Paris. We are a non-profit organization providing VFR flight training to members of all ages; our instructors all have extensive experience flying professionally (one of them was captain on the Concorde!) We have a fleet of 3 aircraft of the same type (Robin) that we provide to our members at competitive rates: since we are a non-profit, there are no unnecessary margins on what we charge aside from what’s necessary for renewal of a fun-to-fly fleet!

The club has a very old history (founded in 1950), and was initially founded by female pioneers of aviation in France (corps founded in 1934), serving as flying nurses for the French army in various conflicts and for search-and-rescue missions. Now of course we accept all types of applicants! Our members are genuinely passionate about flying, they care more about time airborne than about the glamour surrounding aviation (not that it does not matter).

We are launching this website design contest because our current website (http://www.aeroclub-ipsa.org/) is somewhat stuck in the ‘90s, and we’d like to give it a new look and feel.

Some designs that caught our attention, to draw inspiration from:

Idea would be to provide front page access to the latest pictures and movies taken from our latest flights, a few breaking news, and one click access to a few sections, e.g.:
- our fleet/prices
- instruction options (VFR, night VFR, BIA etc.)
- location and contact info
- history
- a members-private login page for aircraft reservation and planning access, supporting some sort of forum/message board would etc.

When it comes to style, we’re looking for things that relate to our logo colors (blue dominant with some red and white). Our logo can be found at http://www.aeroclub-ipsa.org/images/banners_logos/logo_ipsa.gif (we can provide a higher resolution one upon request).

Attached are a few excerpts from existing pages (zip file). They're in French but content is usually self-explanatory. Explanations can be provided if necessary.
