Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for a new website that is dedicated to Fantasy Football in Australia. A key point to consider is that it is based on the AFL, Australian Rules Football, NOT any other code of Football.

The title of the site is THE HALF FORWARD FLANK.
The literal meaning of the title refers to a position on the field in an AFL game.

The site will be all about helping people with picking their fantasy football teams (who to select and who to drop), as well as providing information and news about the current happenings in the AFL.

I am open to absolutely any sort of design, whether it be fun and bright, or serious and business like. At this stage I am unsure which path the site will take so I'm open to receiving some very contrasting designs. The main point is that it must exude professionalism.
An important thing to note is that I will be using this logo as the website's Twitter account's profile picture. Twitter will play a huge part in this site (maybe after an initial design is selected I will ask the designer to created an anagram version reading HFF to be used as a smaller image).

Something very specific to Australian Rules Football will be greatly appreciated too (eg. it might include an image of a football or an AFL field), but of course this is not essential.
