Resumen de Diseño de Logo
Run New England (www.runnewengland.com) is a website dedicated to New England road races. I need a logo design that embodies the spirit of the project by capturing the culture of running. Currently, the site is a calendar of New England road races but there are plans to expand beyond this offering in the future, and the logo needs to scale to that.
The color scheme should be taken from the website, focused mostly on the green I've used. The style of it should be fun and whimsical, but also relate back to running in a way that will appeal to both hardcore, competitive runners and the more casual variety of runners.
The logo needs to work for:
-The website. It needs to work as a stand alone (Run New England) and with a tagline (Your comprehensive calendar for New England road races).
-Social media. There needs to be an icon component to the logo that can stand on its own with or without the Run New England text. This is critically important - I do not want something I could just download off of a stock photo site. I want something that can stand by itself as a unique and recognizable element.
-T-shirts and Stickers / other swag
-On both light and dark backgrounds (I am ok with the color being different on each type of background, but the shape / design of the logo still needs to work).
Actualizaciones
Having seen a variety of submissions at this point, here are the most critical elements I'm looking for:
- The imagery used in the logo needs to be unique, and needs to work as a stand alone piece. I'm looking for creative visions for this, more than a generic runner silhouette.
- Look at www.runnewengland.com and incorporate the color green I used on the site as the main color. Other colors are fine too, but this green should be the primary color.

- My preference among the logo styles is more of a lettermark logo (conceptual / symbolic) but I could see the other types of logo styles working as well. I'm interesting in seeing visions for this that are outside of the box.
