Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am leaving a national restoration franchise (Restoration 1) to start a new company, EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM.

We like the name due to the fact that it communicates more about what we do than restoration. Few homeowners have a clear concept of what restoration companies do. They tend to call a plumber or the insurance company when they have these issues.

We are open to revisions or suggestions regarding the name.

The companies’ focus is helping homeowners and businesses recover from fire water smoke and bio trauma damage.

There are two basic types of restoration companies. Those that get their work from the insurance company and serve the insurance companies interests and those that work for the homeowner and protect there interests. We are the later.

First we need a logo we can have on our vans, a truck and a sales car. The logo should look very official. It should look something like a government entity. I am thinking a fancy fire truck or ambulance.

Most sales cars are completely wrapped with some variations of flames turning into water. I feel this is overdone. The wraps look tacky after the second year anyway.

Our vans are white and the logo should contrast well against it. The sales car will probably be white too. I have considered the lettering to be in gold leaf like some ambulances. A reflective decal would work.



The logo should be clear and simple. Take a moment and google United Water Restoration for an example of what we do not want. Servpro has a very clear logo. So does Super Restoration

Something with an OSHA like symbol with fire water and bio trauma would work.
Fire water smoke and bio trauma should be somewhere under the name.

We have considered the slogan “ We’ve got your back” or “When disaster strikes we’ve got your back”

We will also need business cards, a website with a Facebook precense and eventually brochures and a tradeshow type booth setup. Basically the whole package a little at a time.

Due to legal issues with Restoration 1we need to avoid restoration in the main logo. Also take time to examine their material. Most of it is very amateurish, but the main logo is clean.

• A logo that can work on a shirt business card and van. It should look official and stand out from a distance. People should see our vans in the community and know who we are before we show up at their house.

Agradable de tener

• I like the idea of gold lettering on the vehicle, but it would not work well on the shirt.
• Red might work for the logo.

• Distracting graphics or too many colors. People should know what we do at a glance. We clean up bad messes.
