Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The majority of my work is specialized in equestrian sporting events as well as equine portraits. I typically cover English riding competitions such as hunter-jumpers, show jumpers, fox hunters, and dressage. However, I do also photograph occasional western events such as rodeos and other competitive riding sports. Aside from action photography, I am also commissioned for horse or horse and rider portraits. I am seeking a logo design that clearly states my business name, identifies my specialty, and catches the eyes of potential clients. I need a versatile design that I can include on signs, business cards, banners, letterheads, my website, and merchandise such as bags, stickers, employee apparel (shirts, hats, and backpacks), in addition to other miscellaneous items.

Note: Supporting images included are purely for inspirational style purposes. You may use the slogan, but I would prefer "Dana Mills Photography" be the only text.

Debes tener

• This project must have my business name, "Dana Mills Photography" as well as at least one equine related image. I strongly prefer the design to be elongated with the business name so that it may be enlarged and extended to fit/fill a banner on my vendor tent at equestrian competition events and exhibitions, but I may make an exception for a more compact design that exceeds my expectations. You are welcome to either make the logo image and text all in one, or the logo and the text separately so as long as they fit together neatly.
• It is paramount that the finished product be concise, professional and memorable to clients. I am not particularly picky when it comes to the font you choose to use. That being said, when deciding on a font, please keep in mind that both the logo and the text absolutely must be recognizable and legible from a reasonable distance for signage purposes at large events.

Agradable de tener

• It might be catchy to somehow infuse a horse head or bust as a part of the text, such as the "D" in "Dana," but that is not necessary. A horse that is jumping would be a major plus, as it infers that I specialize in competitive/action shots (I do photograph a great deal of jumpers), though I will also accept a galloping, cantering, or trotting horse, providing it meets all other criteria. Any sort of additional detail that represents/implies photography (such as a camera, film, etc) is also welcomed, but not required.

• Any childlike, silly, cartoon, or cutesy styles. I run a professional business and the design must convey this. Also, no western/cowboy theming.
