Hi, I need a new image logo for my record label. I have one already, but i think it's too intricate/complex and lacking power. I want something that is...

-simple, and bold
-classic
-not too fine, not too many lines, would tattoo well
-the kind of thing a kid could draw on a pencil case/text book
-would look good on a t-shirt

it also needs to look clear when very small eg 25x25px, and must look powerful when blown up to a massive banner/poster.

I'm not concerned about the text so much. What i really want is an icon/image. The text i already have is ok, and am happy to use that. I'll attach the old logo, plus some reference logos.

The record label is called Vacation Records, and we sell dance music. Mostly electro, house, techno etc. Here's some links

I plan to use the logo in a big way on our artwork for each new release. I want it to be a clear instantly recognisable image that lets people know it's a Vacation Records release. When selling music online, the artwork is often as small as 25x25px so i need a logo that will stand out next to all the other record labels. I'll attach an image of what this looks like.

There is a label called Spinnin' Records that does an excellent job of this. Their logo is simple and clear. To make each release different, they simply alter the background/colors.

I can make the release artwork here, but i need you to make the logo. good luck!

• -not essential at all, but it could be nice if the logo had the ability to be later cut into a stencil. e.g., it could not have shapes like "O P R B Q" as they have enclosed shapes, within shapes. like the hole etc.
