Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Our firm is a UK-based asset manager, so any design needs to be understated, and corporate in nature.

The logo is for our flagship model portfolio service called 'Alpha: r2' or rather 'Alpha: rSquared'- this text box wont allow the 2 to be superscript! Essentially the title means outperformance (alpha) correlated to a benchmark (rSquared)

The logo colours should be limited to any combination of black, white, grey, blue.

The greek symbol for alpha, 'α' needs to be part of the design and should to link with 'r2'


I've attached a file with an outline idea where the alpha symbol links into 'r2' and looks like the greek symbol for omega 'Ω' - the key will be for the public to see 'αr2' first - i.e. it must be obvious that it's α and then r2 before people realise the r2 looks like the omega symbol 'Ω'.

The 'αΩ' idea is appealing as 'α' means first and 'Ω' is last in the greek alphabet so lends itself to further marketing, but I'm open to any ideas that link α and r2 together in any form, remembering that its target audience is financial institutions such as banks, financial advisers and wealth managers.

• The symbol α with r^2 somehow linked (see pictures)

Agradable de tener

• αr2 linked so at first glance it looks like αr2, but αΩ is obvious after looking at the logo in depth

No debería tener

• No cartoons, nothing wacky, no colours outside of black, white, grey, blue (any combination is fine - not all colours need to be used)
• I'm looking for a bold, modern design - nothing too intricate. This logo needs to be clean so it's easy (looks good) to print on factsheets, brochures etc
