Resumen de Diseño de Portada de CD

We need a CD cover/sleeve design that would also be used as the CD label. The project is a live recording of the band at a venerable local establishment called "The Boondocks Lounge" in Tucson, AZ. The band plays original and eclectic covers of blues, jazz, and rock, all done with the flavor of BDT. If it would help, we can provide a link to stream some of the music so you can get a sense of the band.

The CD cover project also includes the BACK cover, which will contain primarily text information about the CD (songs titles, length of song, copyright, mixing engineer, dates, etc.). Once a design is chosen for the front, the information for the back cover will be provided. The CD Cover will also be used as the CD Label and must be provided in a separate format that can be printed directly on the disk.

This will be the band's 3rd CD release and 1st live recording, which will be called "Live at the Boondocks". BDT has been playing the Boons every Monday night for about 5 years, the gig is known for it's Meatloaf special every Monday night - Mama's Meatloaf dinner for $5.99. The band has a very loyal following and the Monday crowd is consistent and enthusiastic.

BDT's fans are 35 - 65 and appreciative of creative music, generally "tye-dye" type of folks. The Boondocks Lounge is a landmark in Tucson for live music and well-known in the area.

• Clarity and simplicity, not looking for anything elaborate. The band is creative, the cover doesn't have to be slick.

Agradable de tener

• I added some pictures, all taken at Boondocks at various times in the past. This band is a trio but I sit in as a 4th at Boondocks 2-3 times a month. Depending on which way we go with photos (or whether we include them at all), including a photo of the trio is probably required, but including a picture of me is NOT. Boondocks is a typical blues bar; 3 pool tables in the front, a bar on the right side, a medium-large dance floor to the left of the bar, and a small stage against the back wall. The lighting isn't very good and there are xmas type lights around the stage all year round. The band was born and grew up on Monday nights at this venue, so the CD is kind of a tribute to the venue and the band.
