Hello ! Thanks a lot for your submission. The design is interesting, but, in my opinion, relies too much on the iconography, and too little on the text itself. We want the name to pop out, and in your submission, it feels dwarfed by the top icon. Moreover, the icon itself, as much as it has nice colors and swirls, does not reminesce in any way of Cebu City, or the Philippines, it could be used generically for a Brazilian city for example ^^ Finally, the typography chosen for the name is rather common and does not appear fun or enticing. I hope you will find this feedback useful and that it will help out in your design career ! Thx again for your submission, we consider all of them carefully !

Hello ! Sorry, we really hesitated until the end between your logo and the one we chose. Your submission was of high quality, and we liked the ideas, but in the end we opted for more simplicity (even if yeah, it went a bit out of our established boundaries). Thanks again, and keep up the good work !
