In the days of agency life - I had to learn more about a client, their product and their vision and then produce afterwards one sigle design that is accepted and finds consumer favor years afterwards.

I never ever once in 35 years produced doodles in the HOPES that the client will like one of the 100 created -
Never happened once.

The age old adage you get what you pay for has been cast along the way side.

It's sad to think that a company with such a valuable product should decide that the design image to brand their hard earned product should be wrapped in a paper bag logo for 100$ -

Very sad.
