Resumen de Diseño de Logo

After 15 years in child advocacy and nonprofit work I am trying something new and fun. My mother retires next month and we are starting a multifaceted business- part will be online and the other will be via booths. First, we have gobs of vintage items, collectibles, antiques (thus the word junktiques- meaning the stuff is old but not expensive- might be junk to some), old furniture and architectural salvage. We also have new and used/vintage fashion jewelry and accessories. The name comes from a combination of things. First, we are essentially flipping items- call it what you will, upcycling, recycling, resale, we are passing along things we have and things we have found. Ironically, on Christmas this past year we lost my uncle (my mom's brother) unexpectedly at the age of 62. He had a great personality and loved collectibles, including many autographed items. When we found his phone he had my mother listed in his contacts as, "Flippy Sis." He had more than one sister and my mom is definitely the flippiest sis! And I loved that he was still making me chuckle even after he was gone. Further, my grandfather (my mom and uncle's father), who was my childhood hero, called all the girls in the family Sis (or sissy) growing up and throughout our adult life until he passed. So there is a great deal of sentiment in this business name. Everyone loved our family because we were always having so much fun. We miss my grandfather and my uncle so much. We are so happy to pay homage to them in this way. So we're dippy and flippy, we like to have fun and we love junk, vintage items and jewelry. Oh! And we ALWAYS end up having these crazy adventures (or misadventures, if you will) when we're on our buying trips, treasure hunts and just plain ole doing stuff...so we're not just sharing the stuff we have with our customers but we're always willing to share a little adventure (and a laugh), too! I am not a designer but attempted to put something together but it's just not "it." That file is below. Those are the colors I am crazy over and the colors that appear on a lot of our furniture. However, I love many other bright colors, too, (yellow, coral, bright, beachy, HAPPY colors!) so don't feel limited. I'm super excited to see what this crazy mess looks like through your eyes! :) Thanks in advance!
