Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Hey everybody we are a Formula SAE team at Southern Methodist University. We need a logo for our team to put on t-shirts, signs, letter head, everything pretty much. We definitely don't want anything that is cartooney, we want it to look professional but race team oriented and to have a motorsports feel. The car we are building is basically a miniature F1 car so anything that has the look and feel of Formula 1 would be great. We've tossed around ideas of including tachometers from cars in the logo to the actual car we are building to even just a race oriented design. Honestly though what we are most interested in is something that has a professional look and feel and has that Formula 1 type of styling. we deal with a lot of sponsors who donate rather large amounts of money so the profesional look and feel along with something thats memorable and stands out is very important to us. It needs to be easy to apply to shirts, hats, cups, and other promotional items while still maintaining that professional F1 race team look and feel. I'm going to leave the rest of the interpretation up to you and I really look forward to what you can come back with for us.
