Resumen de Diseño de Logo
*Note: our name "Flămânzilă" relates to a person who is always hungry or always eating. This can be incorporated into the design, but should not show anyone who is unhealthy or overweight (we sell healthy food products such as salads and fresh sandwiches).
General: We need a simple logo created for our mobile food stand, located in the Republic of Moldova (Eastern Europe). The product variety will be focused on sampling different cuisines from around the world - an “international menu.” Food items range from desserts to main courses and we want to have a “gourmet” image that is both clean and fun. Our target clients will be students, ages 14-22. However, the branding should also be appreciated by their parents (working professionals, ages 30-45).
Design: Because there is no specific food item we are specializing in, our thought was to keep the logo generic - not showing any one dish or meal or product. Something general, such as a baker’s hat, could perhaps be used. We will be placing this design on our kiosk, menu, napkins, packaging, balloons, and shirts. Therefore, it should be legible and recognizable in large sizes and very small sizes (the more simple the better).
Font: A playful font would be preferred, which would be appreciated by the students, yet still be “clean” and “professional.” An example of such a font is attached here (Sketch Block Bold). The issue is that, due to the Romanian letters “ă” and “â”, not all fonts automatically create the accent marks. Therefore, you may need to artificially add these markings above the letters to the text.
Color: The primary two colors we would like to use are a dark, dark brown and a silver color. We are open to the idea of having a third accent color, if used sparingly.
Slogan: If it fits well, you could also include our slogan “Proaspăt & Gustos”
