I require a design for a new business based in Perth called Mums 2 Work.
Executive Summary
This is a concept that has its roots in the rapidly changing face of the global workforce – for whom the drive to achieve, excel, create wealth is no longer enough...balance personal satisfaction and enjoyment of both work and family are equally important. A paradigm shift that has seen almost every progressive country remodel the way their population lives and works.
Recognition in particular that a large part of the workforce is women who are choosing to start families later in life. This leaves a “gapping” hole in the workforce an exit of invaluable experience, talent skills and knowledge. This global awareness has resulted in a plethora of countries setting up strategies, support both financial & emotional to assist parents (especially women) to return to the workforce.
In Australia we are only just feeling the waves of this change lap at our shores...with increasing community demands for greater balance of life and work , to greater international media exposure and government attention, along with the ‘tougher times’ perceived to be ahead for business – the need for this population of [parents to return to the workforce is dire.
The irony lies in the fact that when these talented, highly efficient, experienced and valuable skill force attempt to return to work the support politically, financially & within the workplace its self is lacking.
In our belief these Mothers are needed back in the workforce ion positions worthy of their abilities & experience and not just any menial job just because it is the only ‘family friendly’ option.
The further irony lies in the fact that Companies are in dire need of a skilled, talented workforce – this sector of the workforce can deliver not only this but also candidates that will give 100% productivity in less time therefore less cost.
The Potential Market
Mums To Work is a programme that delivers to Mothers returning to work. The environment to prepare, plan & pursue a successful career that is balanced with the needs of family.
Mums To Work are also the platform from which these candidates will have access to companies and businesses who are interested in a union.
Mums To Work is also a programme that will deliver confident, driven candidates to the workplace so that companies can benefit in the economic, community and emotional benefits of utilising this skilled workforce.
Capturing the Niche
Mums To Work offers a service that is unique in that there is no other in the market offering the bilateral benefits to both parties .
It will provide a community care focused service/product that can be the catalyst in assisting to mend the “torn seam’ in today’s society of the battle to attain balance. Protecting and nurturing our future generation in profitable and sustainable way.

Our vision is that we want to become the catalyst/creator of a union between these two entities.
Our ultimate purpose is that through this union we will develop a culture that strengthens the fibre of our community.
